During a discussion about whether to publish a new version of a research document, the assistant presented a reasoned objection. The objection was considered, a decision was made and the discussion ended.

Sometimes an AI assistant’s task is not merely to point out a possible error, but to know when the issue has been adequately addressed.

The idea of decreasing objections grew from this example: as uncertainty and unresolved concerns diminish, redundant repetition should diminish too. Yet this must never silence a significant newly discovered risk.

Human–AI deliberation is not a contest of wills. Its purpose is to compare reasons and arrive at better-informed judgments.

This is a conversational idea, not an experimentally validated optimization technique.
